An artificial intelligence and software solutions provider Internet of Things Inc. (TSX-V: ITT) announced today that the company has launched a pre-sales program for its ThermalPass product, a thermal sensor and temperature screening system. The ThermalPass technology is a response to the ever-growing need for screening and temperature tests due to Covid-19. The company has already received over 100 unsolicited inquires over the last several weeks and the CEO of ITT Mr. Micheal Lende stated, "Corporations, organizations and governments are looking to provide an added layer of safety to limit the spread of contagions and we have developed a superior product for this application. The sales funnel is brimming with potential customers including airports, long term care facilities, hospitals, educational institutions, malls, corporate buildings, and other venues where people congregate. Our first purchase order and payment were booked last week, and the groundwork has been laid for an initial production run of one-thousand units. Deliveries are anticipated to commence in late July”.
Through its camera based sensor solution, the ThermalPass technology is able to take 20 temperature readings per second and is a touchless system which does not interfere with the current social distancing norms that are put in place to protect the general public. According to a recent interview with ITT conducted by PennyStocks.News, ITT has been contacted by office building management company’s, factories, stadiums, malls, retail chains, restaurant chains and long term facilities to use its ThermalPass sensor technology. Pre-sales began on June 12th 2020, however we will be looking out for a large order with any of the outlets stated above as a large purchase order from a restaurant chain could send shares of ITT higher.
